Fin and I have a cold, so I'll make this short but, as always, sweet!
Lately, Finlay loves to throw his food. He throws it backwards, up, lets it drop on the floor and looks to see where it lands, and sometimes he just slams his hands on the highchair tray so hard that hummous and carrot and peas go flying. If he doesn't like something, or he isn't particularly hungry, he spits food out with gusto, or takes it out with his hand and throw it too.
Some may find this type of eating a little frustrating, messy or even disgusting. I love it. I think it is hilarious and honest and healthy. Despite how much ends up on the floor and eventually in the compost, something gets into his tummy - we all know he isn't wasting away (look at those thighs!)... It's so much fun!
Here is Fin at lunch the other day. He likes to rub hummous into his hair.
Fin and I play a game at some meals in which he cocks his head to the side (as seen above) and I copy him. Then, he lifts his head up straight and I do the same and he laughs. We do this several times a meal and he just loves a good laugh with his raisins or kale or cocoyo!
He is such a goofy kid! He laughs all of the time. Dancing, playing games, and just finding the oddest thing hilarious!

In this video, Finlay and Tyler are playing with blocks. Finlay was finding Daddy's tricks amusing but threw in some crying mid-laugh just to keep up on our toes.
