So we settled on a middle name: introducing Seamus Julian Carr. We have now ventured beyond the house. We have made some morning excursions as a family. A walk around the block, a trip to Toddler Yoga, and a visit to kinder-gym have been the main events. Seamus mostly hibernates when we are out.
We wear him in the cuddly wrap.
He is pretty cosy in there.
We saw the moon on a walk and Fin wanted to reach out and touch it. "Moon high! I want moon!"
Adventures in balance for the toddler and the freshly 25 pounds lighter Mama.
Tyler is trying to get more pictures of me and newborn Seamus than we managed to get with me and newborn Fin.
Hilary came over post-adventure in the Southern Hemisphere to meet the new addition.
Mama and kiddies.
Seamus post-bath and loving the warm steamy room. Look at those lips!
Things are going really well. We have some success with sleep but we are pretty tired. Nursing is still a challenge for all involved, but we'll get there! Seamus is awake more often now and we are loving his eyes (which appear to have some green and blue in them) and his funny newborn expressions. Really looking forward to sharing him with the family who arrives next week.
