Hey folks. So we have really really fallen behind on our blogging. I like to think we made a concious decision to take the summer off but in reality things have just been busy and exciting. Fin is changing every day. He is talking more, signing more and just growing up so fast. On top of all those changes Lyndze's pregnancy is going really well. We have had a few meetings with our midwife Uta and we have been able to confirm that we are able to have Tanisha join the team as our doula again. Second pregnancies sure are a little different. Uta, the midwife, put it best when she said "The first pregnancy is for you, the second one is for your child." That is not to suggest that we are not excited, because we obviously are, but our attentions are certainly pulled in a lot more directions. We just had our ultra sound and it was a great but unique experience from the one we had when Fin was in there. I think we are in for quite a different little baby. But I will leave all of that for its own blog post. So this post is an attempt to catch you up on our summer adventures, including a trip to Ontario, where we had a ton of fun but we did not get nearly as many pictures of Finlay with our family as we thought we did. I think many of those pictures are on other peoples camera and Iphones. So we will give you a smattering of what we have done since the pride fest, including a couple new videos. Finlay is a full on toddler these days. He is changing so much and keeping us on our toes. Lyndze is just starting her fall season today so that means that things are getting busy for us again but we move back to the city at the end of September and things should calm quite a bit then and we should be able to get back to a regular blogging schedule!
