June 2015

We took another ride to Mayne to enjoy friends, music, and a beautiful island.

The ride to the ferry was easy.  We were there an hour early!

The kids loved it but were so excited to get off the bike and to explore the ferry.

There were local fire-fighters at the Saturday Market!

And yummy snacks...

And coffee.  

And music!

We were ready to have a nap by noon.

But we didn't.  We played at the beach, the kids went off to enjoy things with some friends, and then we danced into the night!

Fin brought his favourite partner - E!

Then the kids got all snuggled in their trailer and slept while we enjoyed the evening shows.

In the morning, Shay was outside of his bag and sleeping on Tyler's legs.

Fin was on my mat.

Clearly, they were tired from all of the fun!

Summer Days

June 2015

Summer means no school/care for the kids.  Tyler and I don't stop, though.

So we let Sesame Street do some babysitting.

Shay is potty-training.  He just woke up one day and refused the diaper and insisted that he would potty.  Okay, we said.

Sometimes we have chocolate popsicles for dinner.  

They are made of cashew milk and dates and other healthy stuff.  

Probably more nutritious than eating honey-butter toast for the third time in one day.

We just have to run them out before bed.

We may have a couple of future fire fighters in the family.

Here they are in their truck!  Off to another rescue!
